MARGARITA GARCÍA GALLARDO

(Madrid, 1967)

Margarita has a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid, and has worked for more than twenty years on public health issues.

Author of several works, in 2015 she was a finalist for the Planeta Prize with her novel Tolbooth Literary Society, and previously she had been a finalist for the Río Manzanares Novel Prize. It has also been a finalist twice for the Edebé Prize for Children's Literature.

Margarita is the author of the short story “Disciplina de enaguas” (“Petticoat’s Discipline”) in TRANS Stories.
