Juan Manuel Chávez is a writer and a scholar. He holds a BA in Literature from the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos in Perú. He has a master’s degree in Human Rights and a diploma in Higher Education Teaching.
He is currently pursuing his PhD at the Universidad de Valencia and is a researcher in the Biographical Studies Unit of the Universitat de Barcelona.
He has written numerous works that cover different genres, from the short story to the novel, through the essay and also the children’s story. Throughout his literary career he has received prestigious literary awards in each of these genres.
Juan Manuel is the author of the short stories “El misterio de la obediencia” in EX Stories and “Mi patria chica” in Contes del Procés.
