J. ANTONIO TAMEZ ELIZONDO

J. ANTONIO TAMEZ ELIZONDO

(Monterrey, 1982)

Antonio is an architect, although somehow, he always knew that his professional interests and aspirations should have led him to paleontology, astronomy and parapsychology.

The conjunction between Verne’s adventures and Lovecraft’s visions, during his early childhood, convinced him to try his luck with literature.

He lives in Barcelona since 2010, when he moved from Mexico to study a master’s degree in advanced architecture, which was followed by a second master’s degree in Literary Creation from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

He writes articles and sporadic reviews for the digital magazines Jot Down and Revista de letras.

His storybook Natural Histories won the 2018 “Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz” award at the X International Literature Contest.

Antonio is the author of the short story “El futuro” (“The Future”) in @ Stories.
